Guys, Here's What You Need to Know About Your Skin Care

Alright guys, think you don't have to care for your skin like girls do? Think again. Just because you might not use as many skin products and go through as many procedures, that doesn't mean you can neglect your skin. Skin is one of the most important first impressions you can make, so make sure you follow these rules to keep in tip-top skin shape.

1. Know your razor.

Not the Axe!

Don't cheap out. Not all skin types are alike, so that's why not one razor will be right for everyone. Look for quality, not a quick fix. Remember, the less you pay for an initial razor, the more replacements you'll probably end up buying. Or find a better Solution for your case.

2. Don't go against the grain.

This philosophy might be good for cutting meats, but not for shaving your face. Minimize stubble and go with the flow of your natural hair-growth patterns.

3. Lather up.

Foam it Up!

In a pinch, you may be tempted to dry shave before you head out the door. But we strongly advise against this. Always lather with a splash of water first!

4. Go scentless.

No smelly stuff!

Even though you'll want to smell nice and fresh, a lot of products that contain scents can irritate the skin. So pick products that are scent-free. Then use cologne for that extra special zing.

5. Avoid acne-causing products.

Non-comedogenic products only

Don't go overboard with products, even if they're scentless! Some products can clog pores and cause acne, so be sure to look for the word "non-comedogenic" on the label.

6. Moisturize.

Not too much though

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. But not too much. Just after the shower, and in the morning and evening, apply a small amount of moisturizer to your skin.

7. Stay sun-smart.

SPF

As always, be sure to use an SPF to keep your skin protected from the sun!

8. Cleanse and exfoliate on the reg.

Keep your skin clean and dirt-free. Extra bacteria and dead skin from sweating will clog those pores and trigger acne.

9. Drink water.

Drink Up!

Staying hydrated is a good idea for both your body and your skin. Be sure to drink lots of water, especially as the summer season approaches!
