Vuori Activewear - My Expectations Vs. Reality
Editor's Note: I ran through dozens of leggings over the past two years. I’d order inexpensive pieces in basic colors so I wasn’t surprised when they fell apart after only 3 months. But now that I’m venturing out to the gym again, it’s time for a serious upgrade. When I started my search I was bombarded by big status brands on social media. But then I found Vuori - sustainable activewear that provides stylish, performance-driven clothes at just-the-right price point.
My Expectations
As always, my primary concern is the cost - hence all those cheap leggings I ended up trashing. Of course, I’d heard of Lululemon and Alo Yoga but I’d never actually visited their sites because I was sure they’d be way beyond my price range.
But I needed a better value. I thought the higher the price the higher the quality, but allegedly there are still some brands making high quality clothes for solid prices. I discovered Vuori’s affordable priced options from a blog.
My final hesitation was Vuori’s environmentally friendly fabrics. I suspected that the sustainable materials might be thick or rough and might not be a flexible, giving, comfy fabric. But Vuori’s so sure I’ll appreciate their stuff, they have an Investment In Happiness product-guarantee. If I don’t love the product, I simply send it back for free.
So, as a creature of habit I ordered 2 pieces - the Rib Studio Legging in Azure and Vuori’s classic Daily Legging in Cinnamon.
When I received an email from Vuori with my tracking information, I got super excited about the arrival of my new luxurious-looking leggings.
My Experience
Wow. What a delightful surprise to pull on my cinnamon Daily Leggings. The quality is second to none! They breathe - and while the fabric is ultra-soft, it feels like it will last a while. Not to mention, it’s stretchy in all the right places and effortlessly sophisticated.
