The Perfect Post-Quarantine Diet
Things finally feel as if they're getting back to normal.
After a full year of being cooped up inside, I'm ready to start living my best life and that all starts with feeling good about myself.
Summer is almost here and lately, I've been a full-on couch potato. If I want to make the most out of the warmer months, then I'm thinking it's time to finally go on a diet.
I'll be honest. This isn't the first time I've tried to lose weight. Last fall, I figured that with all of the extra time I had, I may as well start working out and eating better. Too bad that's much easier said than done. Daily workouts turned into bi-weekly workouts, which eventually became non-existent.
And don't even get me started on the actual meal plan. I'll be the first to admit that I'm a fairly picky eater, but I had no idea how difficult committing to a diet really could be. All of the "superfoods" and grains that I ate tasted like literal paper. After a while, I decided to just cut an entire meal out of my day instead of committing to a change in diet, and that's not healthy in the slightest.
However, things feel different now. The days are getting longer, the air is warmer and I'm starting to feel like a brand new me. I'm finally in the right mental state to conquer my fears and attempt a healthy diet. But first, I needed to find the right plan for myself.
After talking to multiple people about their own weight loss experiences, I realized that quite a few of my friends were using the same program to stave off the pounds. It's called Nutrisystem, a meal delivery service that sends you pre-portioned meals and snacks with a plan to help you lose weight.
I decided to give Nutrisystem® a try and was very surprised with how much they differed from some of the other diets I had tried in the past. For one, Nutrisystem® is clinically proven to work while still allowing me to eat every two to three hours. That amounts to six times a day between all of the meals and snacks. Instead of straight-up skipping meals, I'm actually eating more and losing weight at the same time!

I can also use their fantastic resources like the NuMi® app to track my weight loss or discover new recipes. If I ever have a question, I can easily contact their Weight Loss Coaches for one-on-one support.
But the biggest reason that I love Nutrisystem above all other diet plans is that the food is actually good. More than good, it's fantastic. They have a massive variety of meals to choose from, whether you're into homestyle staples, seasonal classics or experimental flavors.
You can still eat all of your favorite foods as no food group is forbidden under the Nutrisystem® plan. I can still get my fill of comfort food without all of the nasty repercussions. My personal favorites are the Supreme Pizza Bowl, Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Lemon Zest Cake.
I've already lost 7 pounds using Nutrisystem and I'm just getting started.* While I decided to sign up for the Uniquely Yours Plan, Nutrisystem® offers other plans such as the Basic plan and the Uniquely Yours Ultimate plan.
Each plan sends you perfectly portioned versions of your favorite meals and snacks with a simple meal plan to follow that includes your own fresh grocery items . You can even sign up for a Partner Plan if you're looking to lose weight with someone you live with. And if that's not enough, they also have additional plans including a Men's plan, a Diabetes plan, and a Vegetarian plan.
Weight loss is no simple feat and it's time we stop treating it as such. Nutrisystem® is one of the first weight loss plans that actually understands that the only way to properly lose weight is through thorough planning and support each step of the way. They do both of these things for you!
Nutrisystem has completely changed how I live my life. Now that the world is opening up again, I'm ready to start enjoying myself.
